Slot tournament

A promotional format where players compete for a prize pool by wagering on specified slots during a set time window. Structure varies:

• Turnover-based: whoever wagers the most wins. Rewards high volume.
• Biggest single win: whoever hits the largest single-spin payout wins. Rewards luck.
• Best win multiplier: highest bet-multiple win. Levels the field between high and low rollers.
• Points-based: complex scoring around specific mechanics (bonus triggers, wilds landing, etc.).

Prize pools are usually cash (with wagering requirements attached, ~10-20×) plus free spins. Placing in the top 5-10 typically nets meaningful prizes; below top-30 the prizes are small.

EV note: tournament participation is a modest EV boost on top of your normal play. Only join if you’d be playing the underlying slot anyway; do not chase leaderboard positions with extra deposits.
