Wagering Scope
Whether a bonus wagering multiplier applies to the bonus amount only (B) or to the deposit plus bonus (D+B) — the difference doubles the required turnover.

Wagering scope determines what the wagering multiplier gets applied to.
B (bonus-only)
Multiplier × bonus amount = required turnover.
Example: €100 deposit + €100 bonus with 40× B wagering.
- Required turnover: 40 × €100 (bonus) = €4,000.
- Expected loss at 96.5% RTP slots: €4,000 × 3.5% = €140.
D+B (deposit + bonus)
Multiplier × (deposit + bonus) = required turnover.
Example: €100 deposit + €100 bonus with 40× D+B wagering.
- Required turnover: 40 × €200 (deposit + bonus) = €8,000.
- Expected loss at 96.5% RTP slots: €8,000 × 3.5% = €280.
D+B doubles the required turnover for the same headline wagering multiplier.
Which is more common?
Regulated markets (UKGC, MGA) tend toward D+B. Curaçao and Anjouan operators often use B — a marketing decision that hides the D+B difference behind the same headline number.
Practical rule: a 30× D+B wagering is worse than a 40× B wagering for the same bonus size.
Always read the T&C for scope. If not specified, assume D+B (worse case) and negotiate the operator to clarify in writing before depositing.
