A welcome offer spread across a player's first 2-5 deposits, each with its own match ratio, cap, and often wagering multiplier.

A welcome package is a multi-deposit welcome offer where a new player gets bonuses across their first 2-5 deposits rather than a single one-shot match on deposit #1.

Common formats

“€1,500 across 3 deposits” — split as €500 first, €500 second, €500 third; each with its own match ratio and wagering.
“€5,000 across 5 deposits” — often heavily front-loaded (€2,000 first deposit, €1,000 second, €800 third, etc.).
“200% + 100% + 100% + 100%” — declining match schedule.

Why operators structure them this way

Higher perceived value. “€5,000 in bonuses” sounds bigger than “€1,000 at 100%.”
Retention lever. Second and third deposits happen because the bonus is already earmarked, not because the player evaluated the operator afresh.
Wagering compression. Each tier has its own wagering. Players clearing the first tier are already invested and less likely to walk away from the second.

How to evaluate

Compute the total EV as sum of EV per tier, weighted by whether you’ll actually claim each tier.

Worked example

Package: 100% up to €500 (D1), 50% up to €500 (D2), 50% up to €500 (D3). Each at 40× B wagering.

If you deposit €100 first tier:

€100 bonus, €4,000 required turnover, expected loss €140.
Net EV: −€40.

If you deposit €100 second tier (using D1 winnings if any):

€50 bonus, €2,000 turnover, expected loss €70.
Net EV: −€20.

If you deposit €100 third tier:

Same math as second: Net EV: −€20.

Total package EV at €100 per tier: −€80 across three deposits. Not zero, not “worth €1,500.”

Compare to a single 100%-up-to-€100 low-wager 25× welcome:

€100 bonus, €2,500 turnover, expected loss €87.
Net EV: +€13.

Single low-wager offer beats the multi-tier €1,500 package on real EV every time.

Practical guidance

Don’t chase all tiers. If the second and third tier match is only 50%, and you’re already down after the first, skip.
Model each tier as if it’s a standalone bonus. Total package EV is the sum, not more.
Read T&C per tier. Each tier can have its own bonus code, expiry, restricted games.
Reload bonuses often beat second-tier welcomes. A €50 reload at 30× wagering pays repeatedly. A €500 second welcome pays once.
